Starry Stonewort
Starry stonewort (Nitellopsis obtusa) is a large, submerged plant-like algae that can form dense mats in lakes and ponds. These mats can interfere with boating, fishing, waterfowl hunting, swimming and other recreation. Starry stonewort may choke out native plant communities.
