Join WNY PRISM and Bergen Swamp Preservation Society for an educational Walk and Talk at Bergen Swamp! During the walk, WNY PRISM staff will discuss and answer questions about invasive species, management, and habitat restoration as it relates to the work of preserving an area of existing high biodiversity.

Bergen Swamp is a 2000 acre preserve of historical and scientific interest. It has been protected since 1936 by the Bergen Swamp Preservation Society, an all volunteer non-profit. Representatives from the Society will be available to identify and describe the native species, discuss the long history of the wetland, and the sources of the biodiversity.

Registration is required at https://bit.ly/2024walkandtalks. More information including directions, parking, meeting location and what to bring will be emailed to participants after they are registered. For questions, please contact wnyprism@buffalostate.edu.
