The Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden in North Salem, NY is hosting a special volunteer morning in honor of New York Invasive Species Awareness Week (NYISAW). Volunteers will identify and remove the species that invade our pond banks, ornamental shrubs, and rock gardens. These include bittersweet, multiflora rose, yellow flag iris, and more! Volunteers are welcome to stay for part or all morning and to enjoy the garden afterward. Please RSVP and visit hammondmuseum.org to learn more about the Hammond Museum.
