Celebrate NYISAW with the Capital Region PRISM and the Shaker Heritage Society at a volunteer workday! The Shaker Heritage museum is located near Albany International Airport and adjacent to Ann Lee Pond Nature and Historic Preserve, and we’ll be working on removing invasive honeysuckle from the viewshed around Shaker Creek and around some of the hiking trails. Tools will be provided. Registration is required.
This is an outdoor physical activity, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing and come prepared (close-toed shoes, long pants are ideal, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.)
