Join us for a guided nature walk to spot common invasive species at Elizabeth A. Morton NWR. This leisurely hike will take place along the Beach Trail. Meet at the trailhead by 3:15 pm.

Water Chestnut Pull: Massapequa Preserve

We will be pulling a population of invasive European water chestnut from the Massapequa preserve in the pond north of Clark blvd. Non-motorized boats are encouraged but work can be done in waders or boots as well. Please contact Heidi.ORiordan@dec.ny.gov to sign up.
