Dr. Jess Rogers, Biology Professor at SUNY Potsdam, will talk about her purple loosestrife research. Since 2017, Dr. Rogers has been conducting research with students and collaborators mapping purple loosestrife infestations along our North Country roads. In the last few years, she has been raising and releasing tiny beetles to combat this invasive in our local wetlands.
