A group of volunteers and NYSDEC invasive species specialists will lead a walk and educational talk about the aquatic invasive species that are/potentially could spread to areas like Artist Lake. On the walk we will be closely monitoring for Ludwigia peploides (creeping water primrose) that has spread to the lake and was manually removed last year. Please bring comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen and bug spray. Friendly pets on leashes are welcome.

The walk will begin at 1 PM at Artist Lake starting near the parking area off of Middle Country Rd.
