Join WNY PRISM for a free workshop on aquatic invasive plant species management, designed for professionals, community scientists and the public. This workshop will cover the things property owners and managers need to consider when developing a plan of action to address aquatic invasive species, with a focus on plant species.

Topics will include prioritization, based on NYS invasive species prioritization tools, the unique challenges that face those seeking to manage aquatic invasive species and Best Management Practices for priority species, as identified by our partners. We will also review projects and case studies involving target species and you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your project with participants to get valuable feedback.
