2023 Invasive Species Awareness Week Guided Walk

June 9 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Protecting our land and Lake is a walk in the woods. Join us on Friday, June 9 at 10 am, for an exploratory stroll along the Warren County Bike Trail in Lake George. Throughout the walk – which is part of New York’s annual Invasive Species Awareness Week — our educators will show you how to spot invasives and report your findings to iMapInvasives. Your participation will help us take a major step forward in protecting the native ecosystems that keep our area in balance.

We’ll meet at 10 am at the Lake George Elementary School ball field on Route 9L.

This free event is hosted by the Lake George Association (LGA), in partnership with Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program (APIPP) and the Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC).
