Get ready to roll up your sleeves! The Long Island Invasive Management Area (LIISMA) is teaming up with NYSDEC for a Water Chestnut Pull at Massapequa Preserve, and we want YOU out on the water with us!
We’ll be hand pulling water chestnut to help protect our freshwater ecosystems, support native species, and keep these waterways healthy. It’s hands on, it’s impactful, and it’s a great way to spend a June morning making a real difference.
